New method for canopy investigations using a more exact surface-model

ABSTRACT

Investigation of canopies makes absolutely necessary the separation of the different reflectances generated by the plants or other surfaces. The ATMOYE-model or the new ACABA-model seems to be at hand for this reparation. This paper presents the usability of a surface model which is more exact than the earlier ones and is commonly accepted as necessary in the inverse scattering procedures.
