PLEASE USE REGISTRATION FORM TO BOOK ACCOMMODATION FOR THE HOTELS BELOW DO NOT USE DIRECT BOOKING - We have booked a block of rooms for discount price. Guesthouse of Balaton Limnological Research Institute (BLRI) - workshop location. They have 17 rooms with 2 and 3 beds. Prices are from 10 900 HUF to 15 700 HUF/room with breakfast. Single occupation is also possible, but we encourage double occupation as it is the most convenient accommodation being at the workshop site and this way more people would fit. Hotel Panorama This hotel is 15-20 minutes walk from BLRI towards North on lake side. In bad weather or for those who does not want to walk, local transportation is provided. Prices (breakfast included): single room: 8 000 HUF double room: 12 000 HUF Hotel Tihany Atrium - (unfortunately only Hungarian and German web page) This hotel is 15-20 minutes walk from BLRI towards South on lake side. In bad weather or for those who does not want to walk, local transportation is provided. Prices (breakfast included): double room (also for single occupancy): 14 900 HUF apartment (for 2+2 persons): 21 300 HUF We have also booked the guesthouse of Eotvos Geophysical Institute but it is reserved for young scientists and those from disadvantaged nations (see Application for support). A 360 HUF/person/night local tax has to be payed at all accommodation in Tihany,it is not included in the prices above. All accommodation sites have Internet connection available. The exchange rate of Euro varied between 250-260 HUF/EUR in the last few months. |
